Through the generosity of our parishioners and a few businesses in our community, we were able to send 18 people to Juarez, Mexico from June 10 through June 16, 2007 to build a home for the Humberto family. We sponsored several fundraisers that were well-received. Through God’s hands, we were able to help this family of five build a home for themselves. It also serves as an example of God’s love for everyone in this community in Mexico. This year, in June 2008, we sent 16 people back to Juarez and built a home and bathroom for the Hernandez family, a single mother and her two children. And, once again, our parishioners supported us fully! |
